Northern California Wildfires: AAA Ramping Up Services For Members

AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah has stationed an emergency response trailer at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.

BAY AREA, CA – As fires devastate Northern California, AAA, which provides insurance for homes and vehicles as well as roadside assistance, is ramping up services to its members in the area.

AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah has stationed an emergency response trailer at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds at 1350 Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa.

The trailer is operating from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., helping those insured by AAA with insurance claims and distributing personal care items, the agency said.

Also, AAA is providing debit cards to help with immediate living expenses for those with covered losses insured through AAA who have been displaced from their homes.

Emergency road service is available to AAA members whose cars were damaged by the wildfires, AAA officials said. The agency is working with Hertz offices to provide rentals to people with lost or damaged cars.

AAA insurance customers who have suffered damages can begin filing claims immediately. For assistance, those insured by AAA can call 800-922-8228.
