One Confirmed Dead After Windsor Crash: Police
One person is confirmed dead after a crash early Sunday morning on Northbound U.S. Highway 101 at a central Windsor off ramp.
WINDSOR - One person is confirmed dead after a crash early Sunday morning on Northbound U.S. Highway 101 at the central Windsor off ramp near Lakewood Drive and Old Redwood Highway, according the California Highway Patrol.
A CHP officer said a white pick up truck went off the road and struck a pole around 1:09 a.m.
The CHP said officers arrived and found the person in the vehicle unresponsive.

The coroner was on their way to the scene, and according to the CHP the vehicle is not blocking the highway, only the off ramp is affected.
At this point it is unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in this incident.
