Patelco Credit Union to Aid Those Affected by North Bay Fires

Patelco Credit Union provided meals, chargers and blankets to community members affected by North Bay Fires.

Patelco’s Fundraising Drive For Local Charities To Match All Donations Up To $100,000

WHAT: Patelco Credit Union converted the parking lot of its Santa Rosa branch into a fire relief station on Thursday, October 19, where food trucks were onsite to offer warm meals. Volunteer employees passed out 1,000 family care kits, portable cell phone chargers, and blankets for those in need.

Along with activating its Member Disaster Relief Plan to help members affected by the fires, Patelco collected and matched all monetary donations up to $100,000, with all proceeds benefiting the following local charities providing shelter and food to those in need:

  • Catholic Charities in Santa Rosa
  • Redwood Empire Food Bank
  • Ceres Community Project

Donations can still be made online at patelco.org/Cares, and at all of Patelco’s 36 branches across California starting this week.
