Permit Sonoma Limited Reopening From July 6

July 1, 2020

Permit Sonoma will be re-opening for 20 hours per week beginning Monday, July 6, 2020. We will be taking extra measures consistent with the Health Order requirements to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. Please note that we will not have any public seating in our waiting area and occupancy will be limited.

Permit Center Hours

Our lobby will be open to serve you during the following hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday:
  9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Wednesday:
  12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Service Changes

We will not be offering advance appointments at this time. Our Permit Center and services will look different, major services changes include:

• We will have 100% paperless services (you may bring your plans to us on a flash drive).
• Staff assistance will be limited to electronic initialization of permits, answering questions, and accepting records requests.
• Cashier will be available for cash, check and credit card payments, but we encourage customers to pay online because we are required to provide payment options that reduce contact if possible.

Email and online application submission remain the most efficient ways to get your permits processed.
