SONOMA, CA —Always a crowd favorite, this year's Sonoma 4th of July Parade was truly out of this world, once again living up to its reputation as one of the top 10 Fourth of July celebrations in the country. Presented by the Sonoma Volunteer Firefighters Association, the parade theme for 2019 was "Rocket Out Of This World." In addition to celebrating America's 243rd year of Independence, it was a Valley of the Moon celebration of the 50th anniversary of man's first lunar landing.
Thousands of spectators and participants of all ages donned their red, white and blue for the parade of about 60 entries around the town's historic Plaza.
