Effective July 6, 2020, the office of Sonoma County Transportation & Public Works is open by appointment Monday – Friday.

Effective July 6, 2020, the office of Sonoma County Transportation & Public Works is open by appointment Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. The Department has transitioned to telecommuting where possible in all of its divisions in accordance with CDC guidelines. Consistent with both the County and State orders, road maintenance crews continue to maintain critical functions of roadway safety, including:

  • Roadway signage
  • Drainage and pavement surface
  • Vegetation management
  • Culvert replacement
  • Guardrail replacement
  • Debris removal
  • Traffic signal operations
  • Materials testing
