Sonoma County Draft Substantial Amendment To 2019 Action Plan And Notice Of Public Hearing

A draft Substantial Amendment to the Sonoma County Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 has been prepared and is available for review and public comment at the following link:

The FY 2019-2020 Action Plan pertains to the 2015 - 2019 Consolidated Plan for funds originating from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD).
The proposed actions are related to use of supplemental Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG-CV) funds allocated to the County through the CARES Act for use in responding to the impacts of COVID-19. A virtual public meeting of the Community Development Committee and Cities & Towns Advisory Committee is scheduled for June 3, 2020 at 10:00am to take oral public comment on the recommendation for amended use of these funds. Detailed information regarding the proposed Amendment or request for a hard copy can be obtained by contacting the Commission staff identified below. The Substantial Amendment is available for comment beginning June 1, 2020 until June 6,2020 at the link above and http://sonomacounty.ca.gov/CDC/Plans-Policies-and-Reports/.
Comments may be submitted in writing to the Sonoma County Community Development Commission, ATTN: Holly Kelley, 1440 Guerneville Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95403, or electronically to holly.kelley@sonoma-county.org until 5:00 pm on June 6, 2020.
Adoption of the Substantial Amendment is scheduled to be heard by the Board of Supervisors at 8:30 am on June 9, 2020. Written and oral comments will be forwarded to HUD with the Substantial Amendment.
