Sonoma Valley boys on two-game win streak

Moreau Catholic High will host the streaking Sonoma Valley boys in basketball action Friday at 7:30 p.m.

The Dragons are 4-3 after winning two straight games to finish the the Redwood Empire Invitational Basketball Tournament.

Sonoma Valley defeated Middletown 52-38, then clubbed Lower Lake 67-31.

Dylan Severson scored 17 points and Adam Kohut 13 as the 6-foot-5 standouts helped bury Middletown. Guard Giani Romano scored seven points. Steve Mcgunagle, Kevin Gomez and Dan Deely had five points each.

Severson scored 12 in the win over Lower Lake. Mcgunagle scored 12, hitting on six of eight field goal attempts. Dan Deely scored 11 points, connecting on all four of his shot attempts.
