Have you received an email offering to help you reduce your monthly student loan debt. Be cautious that it is not a scam. Currently due to the pandemic, there has been some student debt relief offered by the federal government. However, some scammers send offers that may appear to be from a government agency when in reality they are a private company charging an upfront fee. It is illegal for them to charge a fee upfront or to pretend to be a government agency.
