Summer Can Officially Begin: Sonoma Sundays Concert Series

Sonoma's summer music series returns along with markets and seasonal community events.

SONOMA VALLEY, CA — For many in Sonoma, summer doesn't officially begin until the Plaza fills with people, pets, food, and community — and music.

This month, Sonoma is turning up the volume on summer as a new season of live music, outdoor markets, and community events takes center stage across the valley.

On June 7, Sonoma Sundays concert series launches a new season of free concerts at the Grinstead Amphitheater.

The weekly concerts will run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. each Sunday with a rotating lineup of performers including salsa, swing, soul, blues, jazz, funk, mariachi, samba, and bossa nova.

Blankets, lawn chairs, picnic baskets, and dancing are encouraged.
