Woman Leads Cops On 60-MPH Chase To Calistoga: Santa Rosa PD
The 60-mph pursuit wound through Coffey Park and several other Santa Rosa neighborhoods, then onto Mark West Springs Road, police said.

SONOMA and NAPA COUNTIES, CA — A Santa Rosa woman is accused of leading law enforcement on a pursuit from Sonoma County to Napa County early Monday morning. According to Santa Rosa police, the chase started at about 2:45 a.m. in the area of Cleveland Avenue and Piner Road when officers tried to stop an SUV driver, later identified as 23-year-old Mariah Centeno, on suspicion of several traffic violations.
"The driver refused to stop for the officers, who had their emergency lights and sirens on," said Santa Rosa police Sgt. Christopher Mahurin. "The driver sped to approximately 60 mph, and drove through Coffey Park and several other neighborhoods."
As Centeno continued driving her light-colored SUV onto eastbound River Road and onto Mark West Springs Road, Mahurin said SRPD coordinated with personnel from Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol and Calistoga Police Department in order to safely arrest her.

Calistoga police followed Centeno once she entered the city. She pulled over but got out of her car and started to run away, Mahurin said.
Centeno was quickly caught, though, and was brought back to Santa Rosa where she was booked into Sonoma County jail on suspicion of felony evading a peace officer.
