• Stanislaus National Forest extends seasonal MVUM closure for two high elevation roads (usda.gov) — Road access in Stanislaus National Forest near Sonora is being tightened, with two high-elevation routes—Forest Road 8N13 and part of 4N12—staying closed through June 15 due to lingering snow. Over-snow vehicles can still use several nearby roads if there’s at least 12 inches of snow, and officials may reopen routes earlier if conditions improve. 
• Notice of Hearing on Petition (uniondemocrat.com) — A probate hearing for the estate of Colleen Ann DiNardo is scheduled for August 7 at 8:30 a.m. in Department 5 at the Tuolumne County Superior Court on Justice Center Drive in Sonora.
