BREAKING: Foul Odor Sicken Several Dozens
ABC Channel 7 News is reporting that a foul odor has made several people at a Carson warehouse sick.

At least 60 people were evacuated and 10 hospitalized after a hazmat release from an unknown source in Carson tonight.
Those evacuated were workers at three or four businesses around the site of the release in the 20900 block of South Maciel Avenue, according to Lt. April Tardy of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Carson Station.
Ten people were taken to hospitals with minor breathing problems, coughing and nausea, Tardy said.

The source of the release was not known, Tardy said.
The release was first reported around 9:15 p.m. on South Maciel Avenue, a cul-de-sac housing storage and other light industries.

"It seems like it's under control, but we're just trying to ascertain the source," Tardy said.
Most of the workers at the affected businesses returned to work just before midnight, Tardy said.

ABC Channel 7 New Los Angeles is reporting that a foul odor sickened as many as 48 people at a Carson warehouse.
Several people at a warehouse in the the 20900 block of S. Maciel Ave. complained of burning in their noses and throats, the station reported through Facebook.
