City Of Lynwood:  Caltrans Cleans Fernwood Ave.

Caltrans crews were in Lynwood yesterday cleaning up the area of Fernwood Avenue at the Ricardo Lara Linear Park, an area of Caltrans property that has concerned nearby residents.

The City of Lynwood is in the midst of drafting its Homeless Plan and has recently received input from residents. It is part of an ongoing effort to plan, coordinate, and organize strategies to assist the City’s unhoused population in collaboration with other public and private organizations. 

In the meantime, the City’s HOPICS (Homeless Outreach Program Integrated Care System) program will continue to provide resources and guidance to those unhoused community members who are open to accepting assistance.
