Fiestas Patrias is the traditional celebration of Mexican national pride, independence, and culture. It takes place both in Mexico, and across the United States and coincides with National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15).
“Celebrating Fiestas Patrias and Mexican independence is important to Lynwood and our large Mexican-American population. It will be a fun evening and give us an opportunity to get together—-which has been a challenge in recent months because of COVID-19,” said Lynwood Councilmember José Luis Solache. “Please come and join us and take this opportunity to engage with the Lynwood family!”
