Do you remember getting ice cream at Ham’s Ice Cream on Atlantic Blvd.? It was owned by John Ham, the Ice Cream Man. He was a great businessman who became a popular mayor and councilmember.

The community loved him so much that they named a park after him, known as Yvonne Burke/John Ham Park.

The location is now Panda House and a retail store.
