The City of South Gate will host a FREE catalytic converter etching event for residents, where vehicle license plate numbers will be etched onto the catalytic converter. Engraving a license plate on your catalytic converter can assist in investigations if your catalytic converter is stolen, and can deter criminals from stealing it.
