UPDATE: Kidnapped Man Found At Huntington Park Residence

5:30pm-Three people have been detained for questioning after an apparent kidnapping in Huntington Park.

Sheriff's officials surrounded an apartment building earlier today in search of suspects ... and the Lynwood man who was abducted was rescued. It's still unclear what the kidnapping was about ... or how the suspects were caught.

2:00pm-A Kidnapped man from neighboring Lynwood was rescued today, and three men are  being questioned as part of the investigation, which led to the search of a residence in Huntington Park.

The abduction occurred on Tuesday afternoon, said Nicole Nishida of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.

The victim was found by authorities about 9 this morning and was taken to a hospital for examination, Nishida said.

Authorities did not disclose where the kidnapping occurred, or where or when the three men were taken into custody.

"The important thing is: the victim was recovered safely, and he was taken to a hospital,'' Nishida said.

The investigation led this morning to a residence in 6100 block of Rugby Avenue, said sheriff's Sgt. Pauline Panis.

The building was searched by a Special Weapons Team. but no other suspects were found at the location.
