A man was shot to death tonight on a Lynwood street.
The shooting was reported at about 8:45 p.m. in the 12400 block of Bullis Road near Carlin Avenue, said Deputy Mark Pope of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.
"The victim was pronounced dead at the scene," Pope said.
The victim could be seen lying on the street near the passenger door of a car, said a news photographer at the scene.
Sheriff's homicide detectives were on the scene investigating the circumstances of the death, Pope said.
