Men Killed in Compton Gas Station Shooting ID'd
Witneses said the gunman got into a white pickup truck and drove off, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

COMPTON, CA - Authorities on Tuesday released the names of two men killed when someone fired into a car at a Compton gas station.
A third man escaped injury in the shooting, which occurred just before 9 p.m. Sunday at South Wilmington Avenue and West Caldwell Street, said Deputy Kelvin Moody of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
The driver, 24-year-old Compton resident Richard Williams, was pronounced dead at the scene, and Boston Fairley, 23, of Compton, died at a hospital.

The uninjured passenger, a 26-year-old man whose name was withheld, told detectives that Williams was pulling out of the gas station parking lot when a male gunman waiting on the sidewalk started shooting into the vehicle, Moody said.
The survivor said the unidentified suspect got into a white pickup truck and drove off, according to Moody.
