The Veterans Project is proud to work with The Mission Continues to offer a paid Fellow position to post-9/11 veterans. Fellows serve at our organization for 20 hours per week for six months, and receive a cost of living stipend (at least $1000 monthly). The deadline to apply for the next cycle is February 17, 2014.
A Fellow could focus on one or more of the following: organizing/promoting events, peer-to-peer advocacy/counseling, career development, health, housing.
With an eye toward mutual beneficence, The Veterans Project actively develops relationships between veterans and the community at large. In addition to applying conventional methods and working with established veterans advocates, we rely heavily on our contacts in the arts/media field, and encourage creative approaches to problem-solving. Our Fellows are well-positioned to address various societal problems in innovative ways.
The cost of living stipend is provided by The Mission Continues, and our Fellows must comply with that organization's requirements. The Veterans Project is now recruiting applicants for 2014. Please complete and submit your application here.
