Police Still on the Lookout for Child Annoyance Suspect

The suspect was spotted last Monday.

The South Gate Police Department (SGPD) has released a sketch of the suspect that harassed a teenage girl last Monday afternoon near Southern Avenue and San Juan. The suspect, who is now described as in his mid-forties, was in a white GMC SUV when he approached the 13-year-old girl.

“Get in the car; I need to talk to you about something,” said the suspect to the girl in Spanish, according to the SGPD.

The girl, who claims to have never seen the suspect in her life, told him that she needed to get home. Upon hearing this, the suspect, unlocked the doors of his car, and the girl ran home.

“Get in the car!  I’m coming back tomorrow and I’m going to find you!  I already know where you are at!,” said the suspect to the girl when she ran, according to police.

The suspect has been described as an adult Hispanic male, in his forties, with a mustache and soul patch. He was said to be wearing a white guayabera style shirt, muscle tank top underneath, brown pants, and ray ban aviator like sunglasses during the annoyance.
