South Gate Art Jam Presented by Quiet Genius and the South Gate Chamber of Commerce

Quiet Genius and South Gate Chamber of Commerce Unite Talent for “Art Jam”

The all-ages event will be on April 10, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Bellflower, Calif. (March 30, 2014) – Quiet Genius, a Southern California arts collective, is collaborating with the South Gate Chamber of Commerce and the American Legion to expose talented, young musicians and artists at the South Gate Art Jam. It will take place at the American Legion Post 335 at 9535 California Ave., South Gate on April 10th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

“It takes a lot of dedication, passion, time, patience and energy to create an amazing event where everyone can benefit and get exposure,” said Raul Esparza, founder of Quiet Genius. “Nothing but passionate people who have dreams and aspirations will be transmitting their energy through art, music and networking. It'll be a fun event.”

The event will feature live music from bands, an art gallery with works by local artists, food sales, vendors, a bar for people over 21 years of age and free Jarritos drinks. The Art Jam is also sponsored by entertainment group, SR80, which will be providing the sound system.

Bands scheduled to play are:

·         Curly Bear 6 p.m. to 6:50 p.m.

·         India House 6:50 p.m. to 7:20 p.m.

·         Innerwave 7:40 p.m. to 8:10 p.m.

·         Femille 8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

·         The Honey Tones 9:20 to 9:50

 

Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door as well as at the South Gate Chamber of Commerce offices at 3350 Tweedy Blvd., South Gate.
