Truck Crashes and Takes Out Power line
Southern California Edison was sent out this morning to repair the damage.

Last night, at approximately midnight, a truck traveling through Garfield Avenue and Southern Avenue lost control and turned over.
“The tractor trailer turned over on its side and took out some power lines,” said Lt. Jim Teeples, of the South Gate Police Department. “No injuries were reported.”

No other vehicles were involved in this crash, said Sgt. Teeples.
The police could not say if any businesses or homes suffered from power outages. However, they confirmed that Southern California Edison was working to repair the power lines early this morning.

“[Southern California Edison] was out there this morning and they were putting in a new pole,” concluded Teeples.
