"I Love South Gate": Logo Contest
The campaign is looking for people to submit designs for the competition.
SOUTH GATE (CNS) - The Commission for South Gate Youth is inviting people who go to school, live and work in South Gate to submit logo designs for its "We Love South Gate'' campaign by July 5.
The design should be simple, sharp and eye-catching and reflect the city slogan, "Our Community ... Our Family,'' according to the commission. There are four categories -- for elementary school students, middle school students, high school students and community members over 18.

The winner in each category will receive $100. Submissions should be emailed to ncobos@sogate.org; faxed to (323) 569- 2678; or mailed to 8650 California Ave., South Gate, CA 90280.
