You'll hear from experts on healthcare directives, elder law, estate protection, and memory loss, with time for questions and connections to local service providers. Dial-A-Ride rides are available by reservation for residents who need transportation.
   

• Girls' Volleyball: La Salle Regroups to Storm Past South Pasadena (outlooknewspapers.com) — South Pasadena High's girls' volleyball team pushed host La Salle to four tight sets in a nonleague tune-up but ultimately fell 20-25, 25-14, 25-13, 26-24. Alongside praising her songwriting and standout tracks like "Here to stay," the review notes she'll bring the project to South Pasadena's Sid The Cat Auditorium on Nov. 5.
