South Pasadena Police Department & the DEA Team Up for the 31st National Prescription Drug Take Back Day (southpasadenan.com) — South Pasadena residents can safely clear out old or unused prescriptions at the Police Department's free DEA Take Back Day event on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Drive up to 1422 Mission Street to anonymously drop off tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid medications, helping keep homes safer and preventing potential misuse.
   

4. South Pasadena's offense explodes to knock off Crescenta Valley (pasadenastarnews.com) — South Pasadena football fans have plenty to cheer about after the Tigers rolled past Crescenta Valley 49–21, powered by senior Evan Hyun's 202 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Strong defensive plays, including a key fumble return by Campbell Carey, helped South Pasadena stay unbeaten in league and strengthen its Boulder League title hopes.
