Photo Gallery: South Pasadena Tournament of Roses hosts Spring Fling

The popular fundraiser was held at the War Memorial Building over the weekend.

Again showing that residents in South Pasadena love to party, many were present  as the SP Tournament of Roses committtee hosted its seventh annual Spring Fling gala at the War Memorial building last night.

The event, like a night in Las Vegas, provided people with a chance to gamble for prize by turning the War Memorial building into a giant casino. Proceeds went to fund the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses organization. The organization builds the city's float every year for the Rose Parade, and the money raised will help ease the cost of construction.

Contributions for the event were $35. Assistant city manager Sergio Gonzalez won the poker tournament.
