1 Dead In Officer-Involved Shooting In South San Francisco
BREAKING: Police said the male suspect was standing in the street with a shotgun, and ignored officers' commands to drop the weapon.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA β Police are investigating a deadly officer-involved shooting that occurred overnight in South San Francisco, police said.
South San Francisco police are currently investigating the incident in the 3700 block of Cork Place where officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving a firearm.
At the scene, officers were confronted by a suspect standing in the street with a shotgun.

According to police, the officers fatally shot the male suspect when he refused to comply with commands to drop the weapon.
One officer received minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

There are no outstanding suspects and the neighborhood has been deemed safe by police.
