1 Displaced In Peninsula House Fire
Crews found heavy smoke on both floors and fire in the rear bedrooms of both floors, officials said. (breaking)

DALY CITY, CA — A resident was displaced by a fire Thursday afternoon in a Daly City home, North County Fire Authority officials said. Firefighters responded at 2:43 p.m. to a fire in a two-story, single-family home at 355 Accacia St. where the first crews on scene found smoke coming from the home's doors and eaves.
Firefighters forced their way into the home through the first and second floor entrances, according to fire officials.
Crews found heavy smoke on both floors and fire in the rear bedrooms of both floors.

Firefighters contained the fire to the bedrooms but smoke damaged the rest of the house, fire officials said.
The one person displaced received help from the American Red Cross. No one was injured.
