11 Spots In Bay Area Stocked With Trout For Holiday Season
Plants of catchable trout statewide started Saturday and will last through Jan. 5.

Eleven bodies of water in the San Francisco Bay Area will be stocked with trout this holiday season so individuals and families can enjoy fishing, California Department of Fish and Wildlife officials said.

Plants will occur in Alameda County in Lakeshore Park Pond and Horseshoe, Shadow Cliff and Temescal lakes.
In Contra Costa County plants will occur in Heather Farms Pond and Lafayette, Los Vaqueros and Contra Loma reservoirs.

In Marin County, Bon Tempe Lake will be planted while in Solano County, Lake Chabot will be planted and in Sonoma County, Ralphine Lake will be planted, according to CDFW officials.
