3 SF Schools On Lockdown Due To Bomb Threat

Police are at the scene.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Three San Francisco schools have been placed on lockdown today due to a bomb threat, according to school district officials.

Around 10:45 a.m., school officials at George Washington High School, located at 599 30th Ave., received a call from a person who said they were near the school and had a bomb, San Francisco Unified School District officials said. Police are currently at the scene and have sealed a perimeter around the high school.

No one is being allowed in or out of the school at this time, according to district officials.

Additionally, Lafayette Elementary School, located at 4545 Anza St., and Presidio Middle School, located at 450 30th Ave., have also been placed on lockdown as a precaution, district officials said.
