4 South SF Residents Arrested After San Mateo Auto Burglaries
A 19-year-old and three juveniles from South San Francisco were arrested early Monday following multiple auto burglaries, police said.
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A 19-year-old and three juveniles were arrested early Monday following multiple auto burglaries in San Mateo, police said.
Police responded around 12:30 a.m. Monday to an apartment complex on the 1300 block of West Hillsdale Boulevard for a reported auto burglary in progress. The caller described the suspects and told police they were driving in a silver Ford sedan, according to the San Mateo Police Department.
Police saturated the neighborhood and saw suspects matching the caller's description driving away near the intersection of Hillsdale and Clearview Drive. The four suspects were arrested and officers found they had property from nearby vehicles, police said.

Those arrested were Daniel Mora Mendez, 19, as well as a 17-year-old and two 16-year-olds, all from South San Francisco.
Mendez was booked into the San Mateo County Main Jail and the others at the Hillcrest Juvenile Hall, on suspicion of charges including second degree burglary and possession of stolen property.
