88-Degree Weather Headed For South San Francisco

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Get ready for some increasingly warmer temperatures around the Peninsula this work week before they start to drop again. That's the message from the National Weather Service Monday morning. Those on the coastline will get a bit of a break, though, with cooler temperatures expected to arrive sooner than elsewhere in the Bay Area.

"Warm offshore pattern will continue at least through Wednesday with mild nights and breezy winds in the hills," the NWS says of the current weather pattern. "Some coastal cooling possible by Thursday with a gradual cooling trend back to more seasonable temperatures by next weekend but with a continued dry weather pattern."

Sunny, with a high near 80. Light and variable wind becoming west 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 58. West wind 12 to 17 mph becoming light west southwest. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming north northeast around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Sunny, with a high near 88. Light and variable wind.
