• Two Busted in Multi Agency Shoulder Tap Operation - California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (cslea.com) — South San Francisco police joined San Bruno and Pacifica officers in an April 23 “shoulder tap” sting targeting adults willing to buy alcohol for minors. More than 30 people were approached across the three cities, and two men were cited for allegedly furnishing alcohol to an underage decoy.    

• Litecoin Summit 2026: First Wave of Speakers Announced (bsc.news) — South San Francisco gets a brief nod as one of the earlier host cities for the Litecoin Summit, which in 2026 is moving to Amsterdam for its first European edition. Organizers have announced an initial speaker lineup featuring Litecoin creator Charlie Lee and several leaders in privacy tech, mining hardware, payments, and Web3, with more names and detailed tracks still to come.
