
The U.N. has designated April 2nd as World Autism Awareness Day (Light It Up Blue). Help shine a light on autism by wearing blue, and lighting up your home, business, school, place of worship or even your website blue.
The entire month of April is Autism Awareness month. Locally, the Oakland Zoo and Aquarium of the Bay, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Autism Speaks U, UC Berkeley 5K race, Oakland A’s, and Vintage Oaks in Novato will host family friendly events in April in honor of Autism Awareness Month and World Autism Awareness Day.

Global celebrations will take place across all 7 continents including Antarctica where over 6,000 iconic buildings will be lit blue to shed a light on autism.
