The Negotiation Skills 2.0: Moving Beyond the Basics seminar, which will take place at the PLI California Center, 685 Market Street, San Francisco, CA, is a new negotiation program and a companion to PLI’s Basic Negotiation Skills program. Speakers at the seminar, such as Ms. Workman, will be highly experienced trial practitioners and negotiations experts who will share their best tips and tactics to take one’s negotiations to the next level.
“The seminar will expand on the basics to provide more in-depth analysis of intermediate negotiation issues, particularly in the class action context,” said Ms.Workman. “It will be beneficial to experienced practitioners looking to either refresh their negotiation process or learn new approaches to negotiations.”

The seminar was also designed to assist newer attorneys who are looking to expand and enhance their negotiation skills. Seminar speakers will discuss issues such as understanding the ethics of negotiation, managing complex negotiations, ADR and mediation issues, negotiating on the eve of trial and negotiating class action suits.
