Body Discovered at Golden Gate Park

Investigators have called the medical examiner's office to help try to determine how the person died.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA: A body was found in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park this morning, a police spokeswoman said. Police were notified of the body at 7:57 a.m. near Chain of Lakes Drive East and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, police spokeswoman Officer Grace Gatpandan said.

Police officials have not yet been reached to comment on who made the discovery.

The medical examiner's office responded to determine how the person died. Police investigators have not determined whether foul play is suspected, Gatpandan said.
