Turn Conflict into Opportunity

Turn Conflict into Opportunity is an lively, fun experiential workshop that will give you tools to move from conflict to cooperation, from anger to understanding. Join us!

Ever leave a conversation thinking, "Boy, that could have gone better!" Ever wonder what you could have done differently, how you could have had a more positive outcome to a tense situation? Do you ever wish you had the tools to avoid escalating a confrontation, to move from anger to understanding, and from conflict to cooperation?

Now’s your chance! The South San Francisco Coalition for Safe Neighborhoods, in cooperation with the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, the Alternatives to Violence Project and South San Francisco High School is sponsoring an intensive, two-day/two weekend workshop on March 16 and 23 from 8:30 am to 6 pm at South San Francisco High School.

Join us for this lively, fun, experiential workshop and discover the transformative power within yourself to be a peacemaker in your family, workplace, and community. Examine your ‘buttons’ and how you can deactivate them. Learn through interactive exercises, games, role-plays and shared experiences how you can see beyond differences and reach common ground.

Participants must commit to attend both days, both weekends, all day. (I know, it's a long time, but believe me, it will be worth it.) We request a donation of $35 to $100 to cover costs of breakfast, lunch and snacks and materials. Scholarships are available. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Registration is open now!
