City Unemployment Rate Stayed the Same in March
South City's unemployment rate stayed at right around 9 percent from February to March.
Unemployment is certainly a hot-button issue nationwide, particularly with the presidential election coming up in November.
That being said, South San Francisco seems to be remaining stagnant in terms of labor force, number employed, and number unemployed.

South City's unemployment rate remained at right around 9 percent from February to March. According to data released this past week, the city had around 3,000 unemployed workers in the month of March.
