Couple Finds TV Justice
A South San Francisco couple got cash back in a dispute with a local store after turning to the media.

When the store told local couple Ed and Adelina Yglesias that the $179 warranty they bought wouldn't cover the cracks rapidly spreading across their leather chair, they decided to involve the justice system.
No, they didn't sue Jennifer Convertibles in Colma, but they did call TV station KGO, which put the store on the spot for its stingy warranty policy.
Though Jennifer Convertibles maintained its warranty specifically excluded most types of damage beyond "accidental customer caused damage," it did agree to refund the $179 the Yglesiases paid for the warranty "as a courtesy," KGO reports.
