Custodian Wins $750K Lottery Prize

Hilario Laeong bought his winning ticket at the Hillside Loop Shell Gas Station at 950 Hillside Blvd. in Daly City.

Hilario Laeong became the latest winner of $750,000 from the California Lottery’s $10 Crossword Cash Scratchers game last week. Laeong, a custodian, purchased his winning ticket at the Hillside Loop Shell Gas Station at 950 Hillside Blvd. in Daly City, according to California Lottery spokesman Greg Parshak.

Laeong claimed his prize last Wednesday at the California Lottery’s Sacramento District Office while on his way to Thunder Valley Casino Resort to play more games of chance, lottery officials said. Laeong said he is still considering what to do with his prize, but maintains that most of it will go into savings, according to lottery officials.

Laeong said that he has been playing the California Lottery for nearly 30 years ever since it has existed, lottery officials said.
