Cyclists Got a Free Coffee Fix on Bike to Work Day
The Energizer station was at the corner of East Grand Avenue and Gateway Boulevard.
The Bay Area celebrated Bike to Work Day today, and part of the fun included "Energizer Stations" spread along . Bikers could fuel up on coffee and snack and pick up some special prizes.
At the corner of East Grand Avenue and Gateway Boulevard, organizers counted 200 cyclists who had passed by and 50 who had stopped to refuel at 8:20 a.m. Watch the cyclists talk about why biking is important to them.
