Peninsula Duo Arrested On Murder Charges In SF Civic Center Shooting: Police

The victim was found shot near the Civic Center last week, according to police.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – San Francisco police said they have arrested two Daly City residents in a Civic Center shooting that killed a man early Thursday morning.

San Francisco resident Christian Centano was found lying on the ground with a gunshot wound in the area of McAllister and Larkin streets at 2:22 a.m., according to police. Centano, 20, died of his injuries at San Francisco General Hospital.

The next day, police located and arrested two suspects in the 100 block of Leavenworth Street.

Windell Lightle, 34, and Christina Bryant, 31, Daly City residents, were both booked on suspicion of murder and conspiracy, while Lightle was also booked on suspicion of additional drug offenses. Both are currently being held without bail, according to jail records.
