Daly City Man Identified in Deadly Peninsula Crash

San Mateo County coroner's officials have publicly ID'd the victim [BREAKING]

DALY CITY, CA – A Daly City man who died following a rollover crash in town on Tuesday was publicly identified by the coroner's office on Wednesday.

According to the San Mateo County Coroner's Office, 83-year-old Ted Quon died at the scene of the wreck, which firefighters say happened around 9:15 a.m. near Linda Vista Drive and Main Street in Daly City.

Quon had driven through a fence and his vehicle went down an embankment before rolling over, according to North County Fire Authority officials.

Quon was trapped inside and his vehicle was severely damaged, officials said.

Emergency crews extricated Quon and paramedics tried to save his life, but he was pronounced dead, according to fire officials.

No one else was inside Quon's car when he crashed and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
