Daly City Motorcyclist Killed in SoCal Crash

The man died in a weekend crash, coroner officials report.

A Daly City man was killed early Sunday morning when he was thrown from his motorcycle in Los Angeles County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The rider was identified as Owen Lagumbay, 45, by the Los Angeles County coroner’s department.

Lagumbay was riding north on Interstate Highway 405 just before 2 a.m. Sunday when he lost control of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and was thrown onto the highway, CHP officials said.

He was pronounced dead minutes later by medics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
