Date Night: Moroccan Cooking Class with Parties That Cook - March 04, 2016

Join us at our North Beach kitchen and event space for a hands-on cooking class featuring recipes inspired by Marrakech in Morocco.

Ever dreamed of exploring the exotic ingredients and prepared foods of the night markets in Marrakech? The colors and aromas will draw you in and Parties That Cook will take you on a culinary tour of the “Red City” in this hands-on cooking class. You’ll learn how to preserve your own lemons (Meyers are perfect for preserving and abundant in the Bay Area), which by the way make a great gift for your foodie friends and family. We’ll prepare a few Moroccan-inspired appetizers - wonderful starters to whet your appetite for the main events - Six Vegetable Couscous and a fork-tender Moroccan Chicken Tagine. After a big meal we’ll cool down with a Cardamom Orange Upside-Down Cake with Spice Ice Cream. This is a feast for all of the senses!

What’s on the Menu:
