Diesel Spill Closes Hwy 101 Ramp In SSF

Clean-up continues into this morning following Monday evening truck crash, CHP said.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA – The on-ramp from Dubuque Avenue to southbound U.S. Highway 101 in south San Francisco is currently closed as Caltrans cleans up a diesel spill from a big rig towing a trailer that crashed last night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred Monday evening around 7:36 p.m., the CHP said.

Caltrans crews were on the scene attempting to clear the big rig and the diesel that had spilled.

The CHP couldn't confirm how much diesel spilled. Nobody was injured in the crash.

The on-ramp is expected to open around 8 a.m. today.
