Do YOU Recognize This Man? Daly City Craigslist Robber Sought, Police Say
Daly City police say the man responded to an ad on Craigslist and then robbed the seller at knifepoint.

DALY CITY, CA β Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man suspected of robbing a victim in Daly City last week, police said.
On June 1 at 7:30 p.m., after responding to an ad on Craigslist, the victim met a man at a gas station in Daly City to purchase Apple laptops and iPhones from him.
According to police, the man took a cab to the gas station and met the victim in his car to complete the transaction. Inside the vehicle, the man allegedly robbed the victim with a four-inch pocket knife, then left the scene in the cab.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 30 to 40 years old, with short gray and brown hair, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a stocky build.
He was wearing a white V-neck T-shirt, a gray baseball hat, blue denim shorts, brown boots and carried a light blue and yellow The North Face backpack, police said.

Police recommend that online sales transactions through websites like Craigslist be conducted at the police department's safe exchange zone, which is the area marked with turquoise paint in front of the station at 333 90th St.
