Elderly Woman Who Can't Remember Her Name ID'ed
Police found the disoriented woman Tuesday and was able to determine her identity Wednesday.

Daly City police have identified an elderly woman found Tuesday who couldnβt remember her name.

Officers had found the woman disoriented in the 100 block of Third Avenue at about 7 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.
The woman said she couldnβt remember her name, any basic information about herself or her family, or if she is under medical care, police said.

Officers checked the surrounding area and nearby convalescent homes, but were unable to find anyone who knows her.
She was held for medical reasons at a hospital. Police were able to determine her identity earlier Wednesday but have not released her name publicly.
